• Creating a swatch
• Catching floats in colorwork
• Making a corrugated ribbing
• Managing color changes (weaving in as you go)
• Decreasing in pattern (arm and neck shaping)
• Checking gauge before knitting steeks (your final chance to try it on!)
• Setting up a steek and carrying colors across it
• Reinforcing the steek edge
