What is your job with TWT and how long have you worked at TWT?

Founder and Owner since beginning TWT in 2016

What are your pastimes or hobbies?

    Knitting and more knitting

What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?

Knitting, gardening and hanging out with my kids and hubby

    What's your favorite TWT yarn?

I couldn't possibly say just one, or two, as they are all so special, but it's no secret I love Finullgarn and J&S 2ply JW.

What's your favorite book from the TWT bookshelves that you either own or would love to own? Why?

In the Footsteps of Sheep is about hiking and camping through Scotland while collecting bits of sheep fleece, spinning and knitting socks with them.  This feeds my love of my home, wanderlust, wool and knitting.

What’s the top destination on your must-visit list?

I know many of the Scottish islands where our yarns come from and I never tire of visiting those remote places. I'd love to visit St Kilda though!

What’s your most hated household chore?

    Laundry

What’s your favorite TV show—the one you’re always watching on repeat?

Miss Marple starring Geraldine McEwan, British Murder Mysteries, and Modern Family is always a good laugh.

What is your job with TWT and how long have you worked at TWT?

Customer Service Rep- almost 2 years (Oct)

What are your pastimes or hobbies?

Historically a sewer- have not done a lot lately though made lots of cotton/flannel masks for family and friends near and far during COVID.

Not a knitter.... yet, but I am collecting a “stash” and bought a couple beginner books .... premature baby steps! Keeping my finger on the pulse of our 3 busy teenage girls!

What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?

Going for walks with my husband.  We are slowly getting back into biking.  Cozying up on the couch for a good movie with the family.

    What's your favorite TWT yarn?

Daughter of a Shepherd-  it smells so good, like many we have.  But more than the smell,  I found the video, I believe on instagram, of THE Shepherd demonstrating his whistle commands.  I was so impressed and touched by the connection (name of the yarn- this is the man to whom she is the daughter).  Whenever I pack a Daughter of the Shepherd book, I try to remember to look for the page where her father is pictured and place the bookmark there, before I pack it for mailing.

What's your favorite book from the TWT bookshelves that you either own or would love to own? Why?

Well- I would not say they are my favorite but I am intrigued by The Fleece and Fiber Sourcebook and The Field Guide to Fleece and also This Golden Fleece.  The first two sound like great resources for fiber lessons and how to use yarn and the third seems it would be a great journey of yarn through history.

For when I ever do get going on the knitting, I do have two beginner books:  Knit How and Ready Set Raglan both by PomPom, as recommended for  beginning knitters like me,  by our very fine knitter, Maggie.

What’s the top destination on your must-visit list?

Cannot be just one.  Austria- I have just heard how very wonderful it is and the Sound of Music is one of my most favorite movies!    Ireland -because I am of mostly Irish descent.  When my husband came into the Catholic Church we visited Rome and Assisi, I would absolutely love to visit Italy again, perhaps Calabria, where another part of my family originated.

What’s your most hated household chore?

    Dusting, simply put!

What’s your favorite TV show—the one you’re always watching on repeat?

Not repeat yet.... but I will be repeating it!!!  The Chosen
