With the Flowers of Fortrose patterns as your roadmap, this course will show you the basic techniques frequently used when knitting colorwork designs in the round including the following techniques:

• knitting corrugated ribbing
• managing knitting with two colors
• starting colorwork and managing floats
• changing colors
• decreasing in pattern
• weaving in ends
• knitting with magic loop
• thumb gusset increasing
• putting thumb gusset on hold
• closing the mitten & kitchener stitch
• finishing thumb knitting
