Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk is a fourth-generation woolen mill located in Hjelmås, Norway, where it has been spinning exceptional Norwegian yarn since 1898. Still operating in the same village north of Bergen, the mill remains committed to traditional woolen carding methods, producing light, airy yarns with remarkable loft, warmth, and durability. Family-run and deeply rooted in Norwegian wool heritage, Hillesvåg prioritizes quality fiber, rare breed preservation, and environmentally responsible dyeing. From fine Norwegian lambswool to the rare grey Pelssau fleece, their yarns reflect a dedication to craftsmanship and character.
