Details: Knit the Beauly Sweater by Corinne. This is a virtual knit-along that takes place mainly in our Facebook and Ravelry groups, with a Zoom Wrap Up Party.
Dates: Cast On October 9th or anytime after. KAL ends on January 8th.
Prizes & Offers: The real prize is the community, excitement, and camaraderie of knitting this new design together! We will host an exclusive zoom call for participants and there will prizes! One lucky winner will receive a $100 TWT Gift Card. The Prize Fairy will also be sprinkling excitement in the Facebook and Ravelry groups!

Want a little extra support as you knit your Beauly? Knit the Beauly Sweater Course is a step-by-step video course led by Renee, an experienced instructor with a warm and encouraging teaching style. From casting on and working the beautiful lace yoke to knitting the body, sleeves, and finishing touches, Renee guides you through the entire project with clear instructions and helpful tips. It's a wonderful companion to help you build skills and knit with confidence!

You will receive Beauly related emails, have the opportunity to participate in our Zoom Wrap Up Party, and have lots of inspiration and guidance in our groups.
Prizes will be given by the Prize Fairy, in our groups, throughout the KAL and one grand prize winner will be chosen at the end of the Beauly KAL.

The Beauly Sweater pattern is released in kits on October 9th. Cast on that day or as soon as your kit arrives!
This is a virtual KAL with many opportunities to engage with our lovely community. There is active chatter in our FaceBook Group and Ravelry Group.
You'll receive Beauly KAL focused emails and a special invitation to our Zoom Wrap Up Party to share your Beauly and be inspired by a wonderful group of knitters!
This KAL is for community building and fun. Even if you don't think you'll finish, join us for the positive support and motivation of knitting with other Thistlers. In order to be prize eligible, sweaters must be started and finished (at least 80%) within the KAL dates.

To enter to win a prize, please submit a Finished Object Form (available soon)once your sweater is completed.
You'll need to share your name, yarn choice, and either a link to your project on the web or your FB or Rav username so we can find where you've shared a photo of your FO.
Our goal with the FO Form is to make prize drawing as straightforward and fair as possible, while keeping the incentive of finishing a project as one of the criteria. If you have any questions about how to submit an FO form, please let us know at info@thewoollythistle.com!

Yes! The Vanilla Sweater is a great stepping stone for the Beauly Sweater. During this KAL we will have all levels of knitting the same design. Our Facebook and Ravelry groups are full of lovely knitters that offer support, guidance, and inspiration so this is an excellent resource.
We also recommend the 'Knit the Beauly Sweater' Course, which is a wonderful companion for your Beauly knitting journey. Self-guided video tutorials walk you through each step of knitting the sweater and can be viewed as many times as you like!
