Construction Information from the Pattern: The sweater is worked from the bottom up, in the round. Firstly, the body is knitted in the round, up to the point where the raglan shaping starts. Then back and front are worked flat separately, including the raglan decreases. The lace pattern is included on the front only, as per the chart which can be found at the end of the pattern instructions. Then stitches are cast off for the front neckline, and the sides are finished separately.

The sleeves are knitted separately, they are knitted in the round up to where the raglan shaping starts. From there, the shoulder cap and raglan decreases are worked flat. The lace pattern is also included on the sleeves. After the sleeves are set in and the armholes are closed, the garter neck edge is knitted by picking up stitches.
