NORTH SEA by Marie Wallin is a collection inspired by the traditional fisherman knit and is a celebration of nautical cables and Celtic twists, complimented by Nordic inspired Fair Isle. Photographed on Unst, the most northerly of the Shetland Islands...a perfect location to experience the wildness of where the North Sea meets the North Atlantic Ocean.

The patterns in this book use Rowan Felted Tweed which you can find stocked here  at The Woolly Thistle!

Lovely book

This little book contains eight patterns for a variety of styles one would expect from nordic regions. Cable patterns are intricate and fair isle patterns are both yoke and all over designs. Lovely inspirations ,all done in the blues and grays that are so common in the North Sea.

Beautiful

This is such a beautiful book. I bought it as a gift for my mother, but we both think the designs in here are amazing. It is smaller than her more recent publications, but the photos are stunning and it is worth every penny.
