Knitted Kalevala II follows in the footsteps of Jenna Kostet’s first knitting book, an international bestseller published in 2022. Continuing her journey into the world of mythology, tradition and stories, this sequel promises to captivate knitters and folklore enthusiasts alike.

Knitted Kalevala II contains 20 colorwork patterns inspired by poems from the Kalevala. A wealth of inspiration, Kalevala is a national epic in Finland and contains old poems full of Baltic-Finnic mythology, ancient symbols, mythical creatures, and nature. From sweaters and cardigans to cozy accessories, this collection offers a diverse array of designs, showcasing various shapes and constructions. The stories the poems tell come to life in colorwork featured at the yoke, hem, or sleeves — all worked using only two colors at a time.
