Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk
Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk has been spinning Norwegian wool in the small village of Hjelmås, just north of Bergen, since 1898. Now in its fourth generation, the family-run mill still relies on traditional woolen carding methods, giving their lambswool real loft, warmth, and a bouncy hand. Hillesvåg also preserves rare Norwegian breeds like the natural grey Pelssau, and dyes with environmentally responsible methods. A true heritage yarn, full of warmth and substance that reminds us why traditional wool still matters.
