We are thrilled to have Daughter of a Shepherd's limited release yarn, Ammonite. Ammonite is a 4ply/fingering weight yarn combining the fiber of Hebridean and Exmoor Blueface sheep - a magic marl that knits into a beautiful melange. Rachel, the owner of Daughter of a Shepherd, says this yarn is "probably our softest yarn to date" and with the same specs as Heritage and Brume 4ply, they knit up beautifully together!

    The beauty of Ammonite

Ammonite is a very special yarn.It is very delicate, yet strong and sturdy at the same time . When it is knitted up you can see ribbons of light and dark grey running through it. I love Ammonite! Laryssa
