The Scottish Wool Company Yarn is a fast favorite here at The Woolly Thistle! This Scottish Wool Company Aran is the latest addition to the beautiful yarns and is only available here at The Woolly Thistle. This is a British Aran weight which is what we know as a worsted weight here in the US.  

Eva Christie, founder and director of the Scottish Yarn Festival held in Perth, Scotland created this amazing new yarn which we are particularly proud and excited to stock!

This soft, woolly yarn was grown in Scotland, milled in Yorkshire and is ready to be transformed by you! The Scottish Wool Company Aran (US Worsted weight) is a blend of Shetland and Cheviot breeds and is perfect for all of your favorite knitting techniques: cables, lace, and colorwork, oh my!
