SHETLAND is a beautiful collection of modern Fair Isle designed by Marie Wallin. This collection of 8 garments and 4 accessories was photographed around the Shetland Islands capturing the wild beauty of this remote part of Scotland.
Some of the beautiful patterns you'll find in SHETLAND include: Scalloway Tam, Burra Cowl, Skerries Mittens, Yell, Unst, Bressay, and many more! The patterns in this book use Jamieson's yarn exclusively.
Included in the price of the printed book is a downloadable PDF version, so that you can enlarge the charts without having to spoil the printed book. After your purchase, we will email you this PDF at your request. Please add a note to your order, or email us at info@thewoollythistle.com.
This book is full of beautiful patterns and pictures. I love everything about it. The book appears for medium to advance colorwork knitters, but if you are a beginner colorwork knitter, it will inspire you and help you understand colors and shapes. Don’t feel intimidated. Definitely recommend it!

First….Marie Wallin has done a wonderful job on this book. I absolutely love the style of knitting she does…..knitting in the flat.
