The Sea Faerdy Vest by Gudrun Johnston is here and it's a beauty! Gudrun Johnston is a renowned Shetland-born designer with a gift for creating gorgeous designs using beautiful color palettes with Shetland wool. Sea Faerdy is the Scottish way to say "sea-worthy' and this vest is certainly that and so much more!
Sea Faerdy Vest is an all-over colorwork vest and a celebration of traditional technique, heirloom-quality wool, and modern wearability. It is knit with Jamieson's of Shetland Spindrift yarn which is 100% Shetland Wool spun to a fingering weight. Your kit includes all of the yarn called for in the pattern, in your selected size and colorway, along with TWT Tote, Stitch Marker and a Ravelry Code to download the pattern for free!

Construction: This vest is worked in one piece from the bottom up. Fronts and back are then divided at the underarm and steek stitches are cast on to work the reaminder of the upper body in the round. Additional steeks are added for front neck. After the shoulders have been joined stitches are then picked up around the armhole and neck to work ribbing.
Kit Sizes: Kit sizes are based on finished bust circumference. The pattern recommends 0-1" of positive ease.
Size 1: Up to 33.25" (10x balls of Spindrift)
Size 2: Up to 42.5" (13x balls of Spindrift)
Size 3: Up to 52.25" (15x balls of Spindrift)
Size 4: Up to 61.5" (16x balls of Spindrift)
