The Raining Hearts & Flowers Vest by Carolyn Holbrook is a treat for the eyes! Carolyn Holbrook has designed this vest with fabulous colorwork hearts and flowers in the yoke. This pattern is a great introduction to Fair Isle knitting with its frequent repeating stitch counts and colorwork in the yoke and lower hem. We love Carolyn's combination of Yarnadelic and Zauberball, giving the design a naturally appearing gradient effect.

John Arbon Yarnadelic yarn is a sport weight yarn that is 100% wool from Falkland's Corriedale sheep. Zauberball is unique fingering weight superwash wool with 25% biodegradable polyamid. This finished fabric creates a soft, smooth, and lightweight top for any occasion. Knitting this vest/tee will bring you a sense of accomplishment and lots of knitting joy. Ready to cast on? Construction notes from designer: A top-down yoke vest with an easy colorwork chart with incorporated increases. Short rows are used to enhance the fit and provide a higher back neck. This is a great piece for a beginner Fair Isle knitter with frequent stitch counts and links to technique tutorials. The use of self-striping yarn for the colorwork provides excitement and interest in looking forward to the next color and the effect it will have on the design.

Sizing: Based on finished bust measurement and the pattern recommends 2" of positive ease.
