The Othilie Cardigan by Kristin Wiola Ødegård is a charming colorwork cardigan made even more special with delicate embroidered floral details that bloom across the finished sweater. Kristin's designs feel comforting and unique, with elements inspired by Norwegian design and Kristin's bold use of colors.
We've curated this yarn set using Rauma Finullgarn, to match the designer's original color choices. Rauma Finullgarn is a fingering weight, 100% Norwegian wool yarn and a favorite for colorwork. It creates garments with beautiful stitch definition, color transitions and a lightweight fabric with is warm without feeling heavy.
All the yarn needed to knit the Othilie Cardigan is thoughtfully packed in a TWT tote with a stitch marker. Cast on for a joyful, colorful knit with a thoughtful design and plush Norwegian wool.

MC: 4129 (5-7 balls)
CC1: 4078 (3-4 balls)
CC2-7: 434, 4094, 4087, 4139, 4136, 4122 (1 ball each)
Please note this colorway uses 6 yarn substitutions from the Designer's pattern. Very close substitutions were made to use Rauma Finullgarn in place of other yarns including CC2-7.
Construction: The Othilie cardigan is knit bottom up and in the round with a steek. In the end, the piece is embroidered with French knots and flowers using chain stitches.
Sizing:
Size 1: Up to 36.2" (14 balls)
Size 2: Up to 40.1" (15 balls)
Size 3: Up to 45.28" (16 balls)
Size 4: Up to 49.6" (17 balls)
As always, it is important to manage gauge to ensure you will have enough yarn. If you are worried, you can purchase an extra ball! Please remember that every effort is taken to represent the true colors of the yarn and that monitor settings will vary.
