Such a fun design from Indigo Knits: the Halftone Pullover! Kim, of Indigo Knits, designed this sweater with inspiration from pop art and old-school comic book printing methods. While knitting and viewing up close, you'll see a bold, geometric colorwork motif, but from a distance the colorwork looks like a smooth transition!
Knit with Jamieson and Smith 2ply Jumper Weight yarn, your finished sweater will be playful and wonderfully woolly. Choose the Designer's Original colorway or one of the other color sets that we've put together!
Yarn Set Includes:
12 - 26x 25g balls of J&S 2ply Jumper Weight Yarn (select size and color of your choice)
The Woolly Thistle stitch marker (selection varies)
As always, it is important to manage gauge to ensure you will have enough yarn. If you are worried you can purchase an extra skein! Please remember that every effort is taken to represent the true colors of the yarn and that monitor settings will vary.
Construction: (Info From Ravelry)The Halftone Pullover is worked from the top-down in the round. First, the collar is worked in 1x1 ribbing with the option of working a folded collar. German short rows shape the front of the garment & lift the back neck. Raglan increases grow the yoke, and the garment is divided into body & sleeves. After the division, the colorwork motif is worked on body & sleeves separately. Optional short rows may be worked on the body to further lower the back hem. Body & sleeves are then worked in the round in stockinette and finished with more 1x1 ribbing.
