Ballachulish Beanie by Corinne (TWT Owner) is an adorable beanie knit with Jamieson & Smith 2ply yarn. This cheerful beanie is oh-so-cozy and a joy for colorwork knitters. You'll find a nice rhythm in the colorwork motifs and woolly stitches. The colorwork motifs go right to the top where there are quick decreases to make a nice little puckered top for a great and comfortable fit.

We've put together a few colorways so you can choose the one that suits your fancy!

This Kit Includes:

  • All the yarn called for in the pattern (5 balls of J&S 2ply; Colorway of your choice)
  • PDF pattern* with color work chart
  • The Woolly Thistle Tote Bag - small
  • The Woolly Thistle Stitch Marker - selection varies

*You will be able to download the PDF upon completion of your purchase and you will also receive an email with a link to the download.  Please note digital products are not refundable.

From Corinne: Ballachulish is from the Scottish Gaelic, Baile a' Chaolais meaning "the Village by the Narrows." For centuries, ferry boats traveled back and forth across the waters of Loch Leven and Loch Linnhe, not far from Glencoe in Scotland. One such ferry was named for the town it served, Ballachulish, and I have very fond memories of being a wee tot and going over the water on the ferry with my Dad. A bridge now traverses the Ballachulish Narrows where the ferry once sailed and this wee Beanie is named after the ferry at Ballachulish.
