TWT Sweater KAL
The Woolly Thistle’s annual Sweater Knit-Along (KAL) is complete! This fun, supportive event invited knitters of all levels to make any sweater pattern using mostly yarn from TWT. There were many accomplishments with first time knitters and experienced garment knitters joining in for such fun KAL vibes. You can check out the Ravelry and Facebook groups to see some of the encouragement, tips, and inspiration every step of the way.
There are great prizes being announced, lots of community spirit, and beautiful sweaters off the needles - or almost off the needles!
This is our biggest KAL of the year and we couldn't do it without the wonderful TWT Community!
Sock Sprint
Summertime is the season for socks and we've seen so many beautiful pairs! Socks are a smaller project, perfect knitting for the sweltering, on-the-go days!
The challenge is to knit any pair of socks in two weeks. Some knitters finished and some are well on their way. Either way, there's great company!

A lovely group of Thistlers made this informal KAL in Ravelry because they were all fans of Jennifer Steingass (@knit.love.wool). To show their love for Jennifer's patterns, they chose to knit one of her many lovely designs in a yarn of their choice. We love when Thistlers take initiative and make their own fun within the community.
This Knit-Along begins at the beginning of January with lots of discussions and support happening in Ravelry.
