The official 2024 Shetland Wool Week knitting pattern is the Islesburgh Toorie designed by the Doull Family! We are so excited to offer yarn sets, for the Islesburgh Toorie, in the Designer's original colorway and several other beautiful colorways using Jamieson & Smith 2ply Jumper Weight Yarn!

This Yarn Set Includes:

6 balls of Jamieson & Smith 2-ply Jumper Weight Yarn (colorway of your choice)
A small TWT tote bag
A TWT stitch marker - Selection Varies

The Islesburgh Toorie pattern is available on the Shetland Wool Week Website.

The Doull Family are the Shetland Wool Week patrons for 2024! The Islesburgh Toorie is named after the Doull Family's farm. This gorgeous design features a distinctive Shetland Ram motif and a wave lace motif, both of which are lovely representations of the Doull Family. From Islesburgh, Northmavine, the Doull family are farmers deeply rooted in the Shetland Flock Book Society. They are dedicated to preserving and championing the highest-quality Shetland wool. Margaret (mother) and Anne (Daughter) are both avid knitters producing garments of the highest quality, gaining local and national attention.

Colors in each set are listed below. These yarn sets include enough yarn (6 balls) to knit the Large Size, provided you meet gauge.

Original: A. 36 (2 balls), 1 ball each B. 8, C. 73, D. 14, E. 131

Alternate TWT colors:

Waves & Flooers: A. 21 (2 balls), 1 ball each B. 52, C. 66, D. 71, E. 65
