I purchased this to make a replacement pair of Trigger Mitts for my husband. He works outside as a land surveyor and has finally after 45 plus years of working outside discovered the benefits of wearing mitts in the very cold winter. But as he needs to work his equipment he needed something that would work without having to be taken off. The trigger mitts pattern has worked great. He, unfortunately, lost one of the mitts so I needed to make him a new pair. I purchased the Fjallalopi yarn as I felt it would be warm without being too heavy or bulky. That has proven to be the case. We have had some Polar Votex days and that proved to be a great test for the mitts and the yarn. He reports that his hands were comfortable and he was able to work his equipment just fine. Love it when a pattern and yarn work out so beautifully!

Beautiful colors. This deep dark blue was exactly what I was hoping for. A bit thinner than I anticipated, but by no means unsatisfactory. My item will just be a bit more light and fluffy , which is never a bad thing.
