Construction Information from Ravelry: Construction of each mitt begins with the star motif. Knit a mitred square, followed by a series of simple triangles and squares that are worked from stitches picked up along the edges of the initial square. Once the central block is complete, it is folded in half and the gaps are then filled in with triangles to create a tube with an opening for the thumb. With each separate triangle and square being knit individually, you’re only ever working with one color at a time.
