Information from Ravelry:  The mittens are worked from the bottom up in the round using a long circular needle and the magic loop method of working a small circumference. Substitute DPN or whichever method of knitting small circumference you prefer. You will need a set of needles to achieve gauge and a set 2 sizes smaller for the ribbed cuffs. The allover pattern is created with mosaic knitting, the stitch pattern is charted.
