The Heritage Yoke by Gudrun Johnston is one of the beautiful new sweater designs in the highly anticipated book Grand Shetland Adventure Knits by Mary Jane Mucklestone and Gudrun Johnston. Knit with Jamieson & Smith Heritage Yarn, this sweater is such a wearable heirloom and ode to Shetland. The colors in the Fair Isle yoke are perfect and you can choose the Black or Dark Grey for the main color in your yarn set!
Included in this Yarn Set:
This yarn set does not include the pattern which is currently only available in the book Grand Shetland Adventure Knits. Remember to add your copy to your order!
Construction Information from Ravelry:
This sweater is worked in one piece from the top down with a circular yoke construction. Short rows are used to raise the back neck. After working the charted colorwork yoke, sleeves and body are separated at the underarm, then worked individually down to cuff and hem. Body includes optional A-line waist shaping. The neckline, hem and cuffs are worked in 1x1 rib. Body and sleeve lengths may be adjusted (note that adjustments in length will affect total yardage required of MC).
Yarn Colors:
MC: Black is the original colorway and uses Shetland Black Natural (a very dark brown), Berry Wine, Fawn, Light Grey, and Shetland White Natural
Sizing:
Size 1: Up to 36.75" (12 balls)

As always, it is important to manage gauge to ensure you will have enough yarn. If you are worried you can purchase an extra skein! Please remember that every effort is taken to represent the true colors of the yarn and that monitor settings will vary.
