Designed by Corinne Tomlinson and inspired by Renee, this brand-new design is already making waves (as seen on the podcast!) and is destined to be your next go-to knit.
With a larger gauge for a faster finish, Big Sister delivers all the warmth and comfort of the Vanilla Sweater, plus a fresh twist: a luxurious blend of wool and mohair that feels as dreamy as it looks. It’s the kind of sweater that practically flies off your needles and one you’ll reach for again and again once it’s off the blocking mats.

Harrisville Designs Highland yarn held with Rauma Plum is such a cozy choice for this design. Corinne knit a Big Sister in the Mustard colorway which is cheerful and bold, cozy and warm. Highland is 100% Virgin Wool and held with Rauma Plum mohair it creates a beautiful fabric that is a bit heavier than the Rauma Fivel or the Manchelopis for the Big Sister. Construction Information: This sweater is knit from seamlessly from the top down, holding a strand of Harrisville Designs Highland with a strand of Rauma Plum (mohair).
Sizes: Kit splits are based on finished bust measurements. Sweater is designed to be worn with 4-6" of positive ease.
Size 1: Up to 39" (4 skeins Highland, 3 balls Plum)
Size 2: Up to 51.25" (5 skeins Highland, 4 balls Plum)
Size 3: Up to 66.25" (7 skeins Highland, 5 balls Plum)
Size 4: Up to 70" (8 skeins Highland, 6 balls Plum)

Recommended Needles:
US 10 (6mm) long circular needle and DPNs, for body and sleeves, or whatever size needle is necessary to obtain gauge.
US 8 (5mm) short circular needle and DPNs, for neck edging and cuffs.
