If you'd like to knit a solid color sock, you will need to add a third ball of yarn to your cart separately to make sure that you have enough yarn to complete your socks.
*Stitch marker selection will vary based on availability.

Care Instructions from Rauma: Garments knitted in Vandre should be machine washed before use. This helps the fibers to "settle", which increases the wear resistance and makes the garment more dirt-repellent. In addition, the garment becomes softer and more fluffy! Lay items flat to air dry. Items knit with this yarn are not dryer safe.
Please note that every effort is taken to represent the true colors of the yarn and that monitor settings will vary.
I've knit a gazillion socks in sock and dk weight yarns, but I wanted to try something new, so I purchased the Rauma Sock Kit. The kit arrived very quickly, and the packaging was so pretty. The yarn is very wooly, something I'm not used to knitting with. The pattern book is not originally written in English, but there is a translation for each pattern. The stitch marker is so cute, and the bag is a nice quality canvas bag that I will actually use. So, I knit a pair of socks using size 4 DPN's, which I have not used in a while since learning magic loop last year, and I found the yarn to be kind of stringy in that it had very little stretch, and my stitches were not very even possibly because of the yarn or because of not using DPN's in a while. If you are familiar with sock construction you will be able to knit using the pattern book, but it is not for beginners. I laundered the socks before wearing (as instructed) and they did get softer. However, they are a little short on my foot. The yarn makes a nice house sock or work sock which is how I plan to use them, and I will knit the next pair a little longer. I give this kit 5 stars because it is exactly as described and the small issues I have with the one pair of socks I have knitted cannot be blamed on the kit. If you like to knit socks and want to try something new, it's a great choice. I have purchased size 4 circular needles to try knitting my next pair with magic loop, and yes, I will buy this yarn again.
