The Houlland Hap is designed by Donna Smith and knit with Jamieson & Smith Supreme Lace Weight yarn. "Hap" is the Scottish word for shawl or wrap. This beautiful hap is triangular shaped and named for the croft where Donna grew up on the west side of Shetland. Inside a neat border, this pattern features an all over tree design, which is a design familiar to Shetland knitting. The Houlland Hap is a pretty addition to any outfit when you want to add just a little bit of cozy.
