The ChiaoGoo Shorties are exactly what your small circumference knitting needs - perfect for sleeves, socks, hats and more! These Shortie Needles are known for their smooth transitions and secure connections. With any of these Shortie Combo packs you can create 9" to 12" circulars using either set of tips on either set of cords.

We also stock the Shortie Interchangeable sets and they are wonderfully popular. If you'd like to try a single size before splurging for the whole set, we've got you covered here with sizes US 1-8!

The TWIST™ Short Combo packs contain one 2″ (5 cm) and one 3″ (8 cm) set of the same size tip as well as two cables allowing knitters to make 9″ (23 cm) – 12″ (31 cm) circulars.
Sizes 1 (2.25mm) – 3 (3.25mm) have a MINI [M] size join and come with red cords.
Sizes 4 (3.5mm) – 8 (5mm) have a SMALL [S] size join and come with blue cords.
All tips are solid and have a tightening hole EXCEPT for the 3″ (8cm) US4 (3.5mm) – US8 (5mm) which are hollow.

Twist short combos

It takes some getting used to working with such short needles, but it was worth it. I knitted one sleeve using 2 long double pointeds, but used the short needles for the second sleeve. The end result was much more even, and I will certainly buy some more sizes for future projects.
