Beautiful yarn for outerwear

I bought this yarn for a cabled cardigan. It has a lot of spinning oil in the skane and seems flat while knitting but it blooms beautifully once washed and blocked.

Good Value

I tried this yarn as I was knitting a sweater for myself to wear to Capitals hockey games. So, I was looking for a red worsted weight yarn, but I also didn't want to spend a lot of money. The Briggs and Little was a great choice. It knits up a bit stiff and feels crunchy on the needles, but the blocked swatch was drapey and soft. It's 90 percent done, but so far I am very happy with the yarn/fabric. Using the Tin Can Knits Flax pattern and the stitch definition is great. Extra bonus ---the yarn is Canadian and the whole project is about $60!!

Too harsh

Over spun and very unpleasant to the touch. Much too harsh for any garment.
