About the Author:

Andrea Lui combines clinical expertise with a lifelong love of making to help knitters and crafters care for their bodies while doing what they love. A licensed physical therapist with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and board certification in orthopedic physical therapy, Andrea also brings experience as a certified personal trainer and educator focused on supporting people through both acute and chronic pain.

As a passionate maker herself, Andrea recognized that knitters, crocheters, and other crafters had very few resources focused on physical wellness and injury prevention. She began creating approachable educational content centered on stretching, strengthening, posture, and sustainable crafting habits—empowering makers to enjoy their hobbies comfortably for years to come.
