This pattern was written for yarn other than J&S. We have found Jamieson & Smith 2ply to be a nice substitute.
Nanna the Lady Duck shown in these photos was knit with the J&S yarn included in this yarn set and she's just perfect! If you plan to knit multiple ducks, you'll have plenty of yarn of most of the colors - just grab an extra ball of FC58 for the body. What a nice bonus!
Size: Nanna the Lady Duck is approx 7.8 inches tall.
Recommended Needles: US 0; If you use DPNs, the pattern recommends using long circular needles in the same size for the Turkish cast-on.

As always, it is important to manage gauge to ensure you will have enough yarn. If you are worried, you can purchase an extra ball of the main color.
