Brimskafl by Védís Jónsdóttir features a captivating colorwork yoke evoking a wild storm and crashing waves. Knit with Plötulopi, an authentic Icelandic unspun wool, this sweater is remarkably light yet wonderfully warm. Begin unspun, Plötulopi can require a delicate touch when knitting but results in strong fabric. It has an airy structure that traps heat while keeping the finished garment soft, breathable, and perfectly suited for layering.
All of the Plötulopi yarn needed to knit the Brimskafl Sweater in the original colors is tucked inside a TWT Tote Bag with a stitch marker. And just like that, you're on your way to your own Icelandic sweater!

Construction Information from Pattern: Body and sleeves are worked in the round from lower edge to underarms, then joined to work yoke in the round. Short rows are worked on the backside of the neckband.
Recommended Needle Size: US9 (5.5mm) and US7 (4.5) or those needed to meet gauge.
