Wensleydale Longwool is getting a very warm welcome here at The Woolly Thistle and we are loving this Sheep Shop Tweed! This soft worsted spun yarn has a consistent thickness of thread with a good stitch definition and grip, which makes it ideal for Fairisle Knitting and color work.

It's a treat to knit with this wool!

I just got this wool in seven colors to make the On the Spice Market shawl. I've had this pattern in my queue for a while, and this wool is just perfect for it! Although it looks thin, and I was concerned that it would break easily, that is not the case. I know it is going to bloom beautifully once the shawl is wet blocked! Give this wool a try for your next fingering weight project - you won't be sorry!
