This soft yarn has a tweedy texture in a beautiful array of colors. Perfect for those fingering weight projects where you want a soft yet woolly fabric. Great for colorwork and cables too - you'll want to get this yarn on your needles right away!

FIRST, if you ever make it to Ireland, make sure to VISIT Studio Donegal, and shop all of their gorgeous yarns, but also walk through the mill, watch the weavers at work, and watch the process of their turning roving into their gorgeous yarn.

Next, I did in fact bring home several skeins of Darnie (along with others of their gorgeous yarns), and it is lovely to work with. The colors are so vivid, the stitch definition is great, the yarn is soft but not mushy… highly recommended!
