Riddari by Védís Jónsdóttir is a cozy pullover sweater knit with Léttlopi yarn. Léttlopi is an 100% Icelandic wool yarn in a worsted weight. This traditional Icelandic design is popular among Thistlers for good reason. The beautiful and traditional colorwork yoke shines with Icelandic Wool, which is known for its lightweight warmth and its water repelling qualities. If you are looking for a cozy wool sweater, that will stand the test of time, this is the project for you!
We've put together several colorways based on the Designer Originals. Corinne (TWT Owner) and Maggie have knit these sweaters in their own colorways offered here. Just select your size and preferred colorway, and you'll be on your way to knitting your own cozy Riddari!

Lovely yarn and kit! Thank you!!
Absolutely love this sweater! The pattern is simple to follow and the yarn is hardy and warm! I wanted a sweater that wouldn't be prone to pill a lot and that I could wear anywhere, and Lettlopi delivers! The yarn definitely softens after washing. It is an heirloom sweater for sure.
