We are thrilled to present Marie Wallin's new yarn: British Breeds Aran. This soft and bouncy yarn, in the perfect color palette, is exactly twice as thick as Marie's British Breeds 4ply, making it what we know as a worsted weight here in the US. It is a lovely way to knit heavier weight garments using Marie Wallin's British Breeds!
Like the British Breeds 4ply, this yarn is composed of the perfect blend of British Breeds, making it great for knitting cables or Fairisle colorwork.
- BREED: 100% British Wool (Blend of Bluefaced Leicester, Exmoor, Romney, and Zwartbles)
- PACKAGE: 50 gram ball
- WEIGHT: Worsted
- LENGTH: 93 yards (85 meters) / 50 gram ball
- GAUGE: 19 sts and 26 rows = 4" on US 7 Needles
- CARE: hand wash in cold water only, using a mild liquid detergent suitable for delicate woollens and reshape while damp.
