The Recursion Sweater is a fun design and we are just delighted that Kim of Indigo Knits chose The Woolly Thistle Rambler yarn for this sweater! The deep yoke is a playful colorwork design that will be turning heads! Rambler is a 100% wool yarn designed for durability and that soft, woolly feel that we love and will just get better and better over time!
The Recursion Sweater in Rambler is the perfect match for your next sweater! Just select your size and favorite color combination and we'll get it all tucked inside a Large TWT Tote with a stitch marker. Before you know it, you'll be on your way to this gorgeous masterpiece!

Please note the pattern is not included in this yarn set and it can be purchased directly from the designer on Ravelry: Recursion Sweater by Indigo Knits
From the Designer: Inspired by the countless hours I spent mastering the art of M.S. Paint as a youth, this cozy colorwork pullover brings me back to simpler times. Do you remember the thrill of using a blocky, clunky mouse to scribble across your screen with abandon, then marveling at your natural talent for abstract digital art? If so, this is the garment for you. My sample was knit in a size 2 and my chest measurement is 33.5” (5.5” positive ease). I recommend knitting the size below that gives you between 4 to 6 inches of positive ease, though of course if you prefer more or less, that’s fine too!
Sizes: Yarn set sizes are based on finished bust circumference.
Size 1: Up to 39" (4 skeins of The Woolly Thistle Rambler yarn)
Size 2: Up to 49" (5 skeins of The Woolly Thistle Rambler yarn)
Size 3: Up to 54" (6 skeins of The Woolly Thistle Rambler yarn)
Size 4: Up to 64" (7 skeins of The Woolly Thistle Rambler yarn)
Size 5: Up to 74.25" (8 skeins of The Woolly Thistle Rambler yarn)
Construction Information from the Designer: Recursion is worked seamlessly from the top down. First, the neckband is worked in 1x1 twisted ribbing, followed by some short rows to raise the back neck. The yoke is worked in stranded colorwork. A second round of short rows are worked to lengthen the back. Then the sweater is divided for body and sleeves & both are finished off in the round.
Colorways:
MC: Natural CC: Lake
MC: Blue Spruce CC: Natural
MC: Lupine CC: Merrybells
As always, it is important to manage gauge to ensure you will have enough yarn. If you are worried you can purchase an extra skein! Please remember that every effort is taken to represent the true colors of the yarn and that monitor settings will vary.
Quality and variety!
