Made up of Bluefaced Leister and Mohair, Killen Sock Yarn is available in a gorgeous array of naturally dyed colors. Killen Sock Yarn is spun in Yorkshire with a high twist and is intended as a sock yarn but it is well suited to shawls and light weight garments! It has a lot of drape and holds lace well. It blooms, with a slight halo, on washing and blocking. If you are knitting socks, a tight gauge is recommended for increased strength.
