The allover colorwork design of Alnwick, using Marie Wallin's British Breeds Aran yarn, has such a classic and fun feel. Marie Wallin's British Breeds Aran is a 100% wool yarn and is equivalent to a worsted weight in the US.

From the Aran book: Alnwick is named after the historic market town on the Northumberland coast, famed for its many winding, cobbled streets and the iconic Alnwick Castle. The castle is famous due to its appearance in Harry Potter films and Downton Abbey!
Construction: Knitted flat in pieces, but could be knitted in the round with the addition of steek stitches where the side seams would be, at the center front and armholes.
Sizing: To Fit Bust Measurements
Size 1 - Up to 38" (18 balls)
Size 2 - Up to 46" (21 balls)
Size 3 - Up to 54" (23 balls)
Size 4 - Up to 58" (25 balls)
