We've put together several colorways for your Altheda sweater and it's all tucked inside a TWT Large tote with a stitch marker.

This yarn is untwisted, and pulls apart easily. I found it too difficult to knit with and if I did make this sweater, it would snag easily. Colors are great, but the yarn is not as soft as it looks in the photo.
Hi Martha, thank you for your review about Plotulopi. We're sorry you are disappointed in your Plotulopi purchase. Plotulopi is an intentionally untwisted yarn and it requires a gentler approach than knitting with normal yarn with plies and twist. It absolutely does pull apart easily because of the lack of twist however, if it does pull apart all you need do is lay ends over each other and continue knitting. Once knitted it's strong and incredibly light and airy - which is the big draw for this yarn. Lopi is a rustic yarn and sensitive skin might not like it which is true for all Lopi yarns. I recommend you have a look at Plotulopi on Ravelry to see all the beautiful projects knitted with it.
I chose this yarn and pattern for the August KAL. It is my first time joining a KAL and knitting with this yarn. I think my knitting style is perfect for this kind of yarn. I knit with very relaxed hands and don’t pull tight with each stitch. I did three gauge swatches and downsized my needles. I was worried that there might be lots of breaks when doing the color work but I was pleasantly surprised. The only times I have had to spit splice breaks are when my dog steps on my working strand! The yarn spit splices perfectly and after a soak in Euclan and blocking is even more gorgeous.
I will post my progress in the Ravelry August KAL page.
I’m so excited to knit with this unspun yarn! It has a lovely halo without needing to add a strand of mohair that I really love.
