We are proud to stock this 4ply yarn from Armscote Manor in South Warwickshire, England. You'll love this plump, undyed, unbleached British 4-ply yarn. This beautiful wool is spun from the fleeces of a conservation grazing flock of Portland sheep which is one of the oldest known breeds in England. Armscote Manor is also the home of a smaller flock of Black Welsh Mountain which gives us the rich and beautiful darker colored wool and when mixed we have Portland with a Dash of Black Welsh Mountain which is a natural grey!

PACKAGE: Approx 382 yds / 100g per skein
WEIGHT: 4ply, Fingering
GAUGE: 28 stitches = 4 inches
Made in Britain
CARE: Hand wash in lukewarm water. Do not spin or tumble dry. Reshape whilst damp. Dry flat.

Please note that although the mix is the same, the Dash of Black Welsh Mountain varies each year as the yarn is undyed. This year Dash is a lighter grey than last year.
