Porty Pullover Unisex Yarn Set in J&S 2ply by Gudrun Johnston

This Porty Pullover yarn set is for the unisex version of the popular Porty Pullover designed by Gudrun Johnston. In these beautiful shades of Jamieson & Smith, this sweater is sure to be timeless treasure. The yoke has lovely shades of blue and green that work so nicely together for a classic look.

Yarn Set Includes:

• 1 cone of J&S 2-ply in color 202 to be used as the Main Color of the sweater*
• 7 balls of J&S 2-ply in the 4 contrasting colors, good for any size of the Porty Pullover

*We have included a J&S Cone for the Main Color. One cone supplies more than enough yarn for all of the sweater sizes and also means less ends to weave in!

Construction:

This sweater is worked in one piece from the top down with a circular yoke construction. Sleeves and body are separated at the underarm. Short rows are used to raise the back neck. Colorwork is charted for the yoke and cuffs. This unisex version has a deeper yoke, wider upper arm circumference, longer body and sleeves and does not have any waist shaping.

Sizing: 

37 ¼ (41 ½, 45, 50 ½, 54 ½, 59 ¼) in / 94.5 (105.5, 114.5, 128.5, 138.5, 150.5) cm
Suggested ease is between 2-4 in / 5-10cm of positive ease. This yarn set includes enough yarn to knit the largest size.  If you knit a smaller size you will have more of your main color cone left over.
