Hairst Mön Mittens are a warm and cozy design by Gudrun Johnston. These adult-sized mittens use the traditional OXO Fair Isle motif. The Hairst Mön Mittens are knit with Jamieson's of Shetland DK yarn which is a 100% Shetland Wool. These mittens use five of the warm and natural shades of those lovely, little Shetland sheep.
Along with all of the yarn called for to knit the mittens, including plenty of the main color for modifications or some leftover (yay!), this kit includes a download code for the pattern and a branded, Della Q Oh Snap Bag. The Della Q Bag features the first in a set of unique logos for 2025! It's adorable, you'll want to get this one quick!
Kit Includes:
Colors Used: Moorit 108 (MC), Mooskit 106 (CC1), Shetland Black 101 (CC2), Shaela 102 (CC3), Mogit 107 (CC4)
Construction information from the pattern: These colorwork mittens are worked bottom up with thumb gusset shaping. Once the thumb shaping is finished those stitches are put on hold and the reminder of the hand is worked in the round and finished with fingertip shaping similar to what you would find in a hat crown. Additional length can be added to the thumb and hand area by working more plain rows or working additional ribbing rows.
As always, it is important to manage gauge to ensure you will have enough yarn. Please remember that every effort is taken to represent the true colors of the yarn and that monitor settings will vary.
Please note, this product includes a digital pattern code that is not refundable.
