The Flowers of Fortrose design has been a TWT favorite since Corinne designed the hat. Now, we are happy to add the Flowers of Fortrose Mittens to make this a lovely set. This cheerful colorwork hat and mittens set are knit with Rauma Lamullgarn Weight yarn. 


The Flowers of Fortrose Hat & Mittens were designed by Corinne and named after Fortrose on the Black Isle in the Highlands of Scotland where her family spent lots of school holidays visiting her Grandad. Flowers are all around throughout the village.We've put together a few colorways so you can choose the one that suits your fancy for your hat and mittens set! 

Kit Includes:
  • All the yarn needed to knit Hat and Mittens (color selection of your choice)
  • PDF pattern for Hat and Mittens with color work charts
  • TWT small tote bag
  • The Woolly Thistle stitch marker 

Pattern Information:

  • YARN:  Rauma Lamullgarn Yarn (5 balls; 273 yds/ 50g ball)
  • NEEDLES: US 2/2.75mm and US3/3.25mm
  • GAUGE:  30 sts/4" on larger needles

Finished Measurements after blocking:

Hat: Circumference at brim, approx. 20" Crown to brim length: 7.5
Mittens: 7.75“ (19.5 cm ) wide x 9.5”
