We are honored to have Daughter of a Shepherd's brand new, limited release yarn, Ammonite. Ammonite is a 4ply/fingering weight yarn combining the fiber of Hebridean and Exmoor Blueface sheep - a magic marl that knits into a beautiful melange. Rachel, the owner of Daughter of a Shepherd, says this is "probably our softest yarn to date" and with the same specs as Heritage and Brume 4ply, they knit up beautifully together! 

We couldn't resist the opportunity to include Ammonite in this perfect set of Daughter of a Shepherd's amazing yarn! This set includes one skein each of Ammonite, Brume, and Heritage!

Ammonite:

  • BREED: 100% British Wool (50% Hebridean / 50% Exmoor Blueface)
  • WEIGHT: 4ply / Fingering weight
  • PACKAGE: 437 yards per 100g skein
  • NEEDLES: US 0-7 needle or hook
  • GAUGE: 26-32 sts over  4”
  • Sourced, scoured, and spun in the UK
  • Compatible with Heritage 4ply and Brume 4ply

Brume:

  • BREED: 50% Hebridean, 25% Zwartbles, 25% Exmoor Blueface pure undyed wool
  • WEIGHT: 4ply / Fingering weight
  • PACKAGE: 437 yards per 100g skein 
  • NEEDLES: US 0-7 needle or hook
  • GAUGE: 24 sts and 36 rows = 4" 
  • Sourced, scoured and spun in the UK

Heritage:

  • BREED: 75% Hebridean, 25% Zwartbles, pure undyed wool
  • WEIGHT: 4ply / Fingering weight
  • PACKAGE: 437 yards per 100g skein
  • NEEDLES: US 0-7 needle or hook
  • GAUGE: 24 sts and 36 rows = 4" 
  • Sourced, scoured and spun in the UK

Care: Hand wash; Lay flat to dry naturally.
