All of the colors for these yarns are beautiful so we feel confident that you will love the colors you receive!

The Woolly Thistle Rambler (United States)

Brand new colors are here and you can have first access to the Sea Farer colorway in your Cool Summer Nights Sock Bag! Sea Farer is a deep navy that is the perfect addition to the Rambler color palette.

You may already know The Woolly Thistle's house yarn, Rambler gets its name from those hardy hill-walkers all over Britain who "ramble" around the countryside either on their own or with other like-minded ramblers. Dorset wool is the base, giving Rambler a bouncy, slightly rustic feel with the addition of Corriedale and Romney for softness and strength. Our 3-ply fingering weight yarn is strong enough for socks but versatile enough for a wide array of projects.

Garthenor Organics Snowdonia (West Wales, United Kingdom)

Garthenor Snowdonia is an extraordinary yarn that aligns beautifully with our values of small farm sourcing, sustainability, and woolly authenticity. Garthenor is a proudly Welsh company deeply rooted in West Wales, working exclusively with organic, breed-specific wool from farms across the Scottish Highlands, South West England, and South Wales.

Each bag includes two skeins of this custom-spun, all-natural yarn in one of its undyed grey tones—Bala, Idris, Tomen, or Glaslyn—each named for evocative landscapes of Snowdonia National Park. With a high-twist, worsted-spun structure and a thoughtful blend of Romney and Hebridean fibers, Snowdonia is rugged, smooth, and built for beautiful, lasting socks.

Spun by women in rural cooperatives across Uruguay, Alegría supports economic empowerment and artisan craft through a Fair Trade-certified, nonprofit organization. This easy-care yarn offers a cushy feel and beautiful durability—perfect for socks that are meant to be worn and loved.
