We are overjoyed by the popularity of our very own Vanilla Sweater Kit. This sweater, designed by Corinne, is knit top-down and an excellent choice for beginners as well as experienced knitters.
Our customers have knit thousands of Vanilla Sweaters! This pattern is versatile and many of our customers have made multiple Vanilla Sweaters adding their own special touches when desired. Deciding on a color might be the hardest part! We have included the top selling colors in the kits offered here.

This simple top down raglan sweater is available in nine sizes, 34.5"-66” bust, intended to have 3.5-6” positive ease.
Kits split as follows:
To fit chest: 28-30, 32-34 listed as 28-34" = 5 balls
To fit chest: 36-38, 40-42 listed as 36-42" = 6 balls
To fit chest: 44-46, 48-50 listed as 44-50" = 7 balls
To fit chest: 52-54, 56-58, 60-62 listed as 52-62" = 9 balls

The sweater is knitted in Rauma Finullgarn which is a fingering weight yarn and is knitted on a US 6 which results in a loose, drapey fabric. The finished sweater is a relaxed fit with 3/4 length sleeve, round neck and split hem.
