Dulcinea is a gorgeous shawl design by Lucía Ruiz de Aguirre using Dehesa de Barrrera yarn from WoolDreamers. Dehesa de Barrera is a fingering weight Spanish Merino yarn, available in vibrant colors and soft for easy next to skin wear. Lucía Ruiz de Aguirre has combined these colors to create a truly striking shawl. Try one of the colorways that she knit (Verde or Flamenco) or we've put together a couple others that might catch your eye too!

CONSTRUCTION
This shawl is knit top-down, starting at the centre of the top border, then growing to the sides and down, its final shape is triangular. It is finished with an i-cord all around, to give consistency to the edge. It is important to note that you do not need to cut the yarn between color changes, as the colors are carried up at the edge until the end of the pattern. That is why once finished knitting the main body of the shawl, an i-cord is worked all around the edge, to hide the colors that were carried up along the side.

As always, it is important to manage gauge to ensure you will have enough yarn. If you are worried you can purchase an extra skein! Please remember that every effort is taken to represent the true colors of the yarn and that monitor settings will vary.

BREED: 100% Spanish Merino Wool (non-superwash)
